Seven White Herbs Ancient Soap — Tang Dynasty Cold Process Brightening Bar
Product Details
A 1,400-year-old imperial beauty formula, cold processed into a bar. During the Tang Dynasty, Chinese court physicians compiled a formula known as Qi Bai Fang, "Seven White," named for seven herbs whose names each begin with the character for white. Documented across multiple historical Chinese medical texts, the formula was used to support an even, luminous complexion.
This bar combines all seven in a cold-processed base: angelica root, white atractylodes, white poria, bletilla root, ampelopsis root, typhonium root, and bletilla striata. Cold processing preserves the natural compounds in each herb and keeps the bar's natural glycerin intact, the difference between this and commercially stripped soap.
The bar is off-white to pale cream, the natural color of the herb blend, with a clean, faintly botanical scent. The lather is fine and silky. With consistent use, skin tends to look smoother and more even, gradually rather than overnight.
